International Virtual Data Grid Laboratory (iVDGL)

The International Virtual Data Grid Laboratory (iVDGL) is comprised of heterogeneous computing and storage resources in the US, Europe, and ultimately other regions linked by high-speed networks, and operated as a single system for the purposes of interdisciplinary experimentation in Grid-enabled data-intensive scientific computing.

The iVDGL Grid Operations Center (iGOC) is responsible for providing information services (i.e., information about the iVDGL and how to participate), technical services (e.g., Globus "core services" such as giis.ivdgl.org) and grid monitoring services for the iVDGL testbed.
