Layer Two Query Protocol (LTQP)
Many end-to-end network performance problems are due to errors in the local Ethernet network. Until now there's been no standard method for discovering the underlying Ethernet topology and no safe way of communicating this information to outside support organizations. LTQP solves these problems by implementing a vendor independent topology discovery algorithm, relying on standard SNMP data, and communicating this topology in manner that doesn't compromise security.
