The goal of HPC has always been to generate the largest amount of new science in the least amount of time. The two main factors governing the time required to generate computational results are software development time and program execution time. The goal of this project is to improve the practices of HPC software developers, reducing time to solution, enable scaling-up of software project scope, and facilitate distributed, collaborative software development. Principally, this will be done by creating a flexible, scalable, and, most importantly, usable framework for collaborative software development.
