Research in Indiana 2003 at SC2003! The Research in Indiana tradition continues
this year, with the University of Notre Dame, Purdue University, and Indiana
University teaming up once more to demonstrate new innovations and accomplishments
in advanced information technology. The activities that have been staples
of previous displays are all in evidence in abundance – Purdue's
accomplishments in IT and engineering, Notre Dame's accomplishments in
computer science, and IU's accomplishments in networking, grid- and supercomputing.
The state of Indiana has become home to significant parts of the efforts to make the nation's vision for cyberinfrastructure a reality, and to build the advanced computing systems of tomorrow! At the same time, all three universities are transferring new technology into routine use in ways that help the US economy and that of Indiana especially. Research in Indiana this year centers on three themes: |
