Robust and reliable systems and services provide the essential foundation upon which Indiana University's cyberinfrastructure is built. Combining world class supercomputing, storage, consulting, and training services with innovative research, software development, and collaborative activities, Indiana University is able to leverage the intellectual resources of scientists, artists, and students to make possible new discovery and innovation. These efforts are enhanced through collaboration with the State of Indiana and Purdue University through the IP-Grid, the I-Light fiber optic network, TeraGrid, and numerous resource sharing agreements. Indiana University's Global Network Operations Center manages national and international networks, including the Abilene Network Operations Center, the National Lambda Rail, and TransPAC. Close partnerships with the Lilly Endowment, Inc., the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and corporate partners have been and will continue to be essential to allowing Indiana University to work in partnership with researchers and artists to create the future.
